WiseGuyz, developed by the Centre for Sexuality, has demonstrated outcomes in supporting male identifying youth to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to have healthy relationships and to prevent adolescent dating violence. Thanks to a grant in partnership with the City of St Albert, we are able to offer this program in our service areas.

Make it Our Business Workshop

Make It Our Business provides information and education to help employers and their employees understand how to better meet Alberta’s OHS Act — particularly how to understand and identify the signs of abuse; what resources are available; and how they can best respond to the needs of those among them who may be suffering from domestic abuse.

The workshop is approximately 1 hour, and can be completed onsite with a minimum of 5 participants.

Cut It Out is part of the Neighbours, Friends & Families campaign to educate salon, beauty, and spa professionals on how to recognize the warning signs of domestic abuse, and how to respond and safely refer their clients to local support.

Offered to community residents with a focus on key topics that are raised as current issues or concerns regarding abuse or the potential for abuse. They are announced as they are developed.
